Deadline for applications : July 9
“Social hours” provides Institute attendees the chance to socialize with other participants who share the same interests. The Institute designates the period between 4:10-5:40 pm every Tuesday and Friday as “social hours.”
Certain rooms in Olson Hall, where classes are held, will serve as social hubs during social hours and will be available for attendees to use. They are called social hubs because they are simply your meeting place and you can decide whether your group stays or go somewhere else. Certain social hours and hubs (classrooms) will be specifically assigned to address specific themes and subfields. Once interested participants convene in social hubs, you are free to take your discussion
Certain social hours will be designated as “Pop Up Mentoring” sessions led by mentors—members of the Linguistic Institute community, including faculty, staff, affiliates, and guests. More information on what Pop Up Mentoring sessions can be found here.
This page will be updated continuously. You can follow us on social media to get updates and “social hour” notifications. You can also bookmark this page.
